What You'll Do
- Lay out and install light-gauge metal framing — the core of the role — including metal stud partitions, walls, soffits, bulkheads, ceilings, and architecturally complex layouts
- Frame structural and non-structural assemblies to spec, maintaining dimensional accuracy and plumb/level tolerances
- Hang drywall and assist with close-in to keep interior scopes on schedule
- Perform finish carpentry as needed: install doors, frames, trim, and hardware
- Read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements
- Coordinate with field supervisors and other trades (MEP, ceilings, drywall) to maintain sequencing and quality
- Operate metal-cutting tools, screw guns, and layout equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of metal stud framing experience in commercial or multifamily construction
- Strong working knowledge of light-gauge metal framing methods, layout, and assemblies
- Proficiency with metal-cutting tools, screw guns, and standard hand and power tools of the trade
- Ability to read construction drawings and take accurate measurements
- Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding/lifts
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites across the region
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
- Drywall and finish carpentry experience a plus
- OSHA 10/30 a plus (we can support certification)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
